How much does video commercial cost?
This is one of the most frequently asked questions we hear from customers: “How much does a commercial film cost?” The answer? It depends. I know, that's not the most satisfying sentence you can hear at the beginning of a conversation. But don't worry, we'll clear everything up.

Film film uneven
The production of an advertising film can cost several hundred zlotys, a few thousandand even several hundred thousand zlotys. The differences are huge, because the range of possible realizations is also huge - from a simple product video on social media, through 2D animations, to a full-size TV spot with actors, locations and drones.
What affects the price of an advertising film?
Here are the most important factors that shape the cost of production:
1. Concept and scenario
The more complex the idea, the more conceptual work and time for planning.
2. Duration of the film
Longer material = more work on the set and in the assembly room.
3. Number of photo days
One day of shooting is not the same as three days of shooting in several locations.
4. Location and photo plan
Photos in the office are one thing, and a photo plan with a rented studio, set design and additional permits is another.
5. Team and equipment
The cost of a photo shoot strongly depends on the composition of the crew:
- Minimum crew of 3 (director/operator, lighting designer, make-up artist) — from 3 500 zł per day (excluding the cost of equipment and location)
- Full crew of 7 (e.g. director, operator, focus puller, lighting engineer, sound engineer, make-up artist, plan manager) — from 10 000 PLN per photo day
To this must be added the costs of equipment rental, transportation, catering and possible additional services.
6. Postproduction
This is where the magic happens: editing, coloring, graphics, voiceover, music... often underestimated, and a key part of the process.
7. Where will the film be broadcast?
it one of the key elements affecting the budget, and often overlooked at the stage of the first conversations. Otherwise, the production is planned for campaigns on YouTube or TikTok, and differently for a nationwide broadcast on television or before films in cinemas.
Emissions have an impact on:
- Technical format of the film
- Quality and style of production
- Music and Photo Licenses
- Licenses for the image of actors
8. License for the image of actors - the Internet is not the same as television
Actors and statisticians are charged not only for work on the set, but also for time and extent of use of their image.
- Emission on the Internet (e.g. social media) — usually cheaper licenses
- Emission on TV, cinema, outdoor — rates increase significantly, sometimes several times
- Licenses often include time and territory restrictions — this is worth thinking about in advance
Sample price ranges
In order not to leave you with just “it depends”, here are the indicative forks:
- Simple product videos/social media — from 1 000 PLN
- 2D animation or explainer video — from 3 000 PLN
- Professional advertising spot (for the Internet) — from 8 000 to 20 000 PLN
- Corporate movie/employer branding — from 10 000 PLN and above
- TV or cinema spot — from PLN 30,000 to... there is no upper limit
Finally: one piece of advice that is not worth ignoring
If you invest in a commercial film, remember the budget for its promotion. Even the best material will not fulfill its role if no one sees it. Nowadays, it's not enough to “have a cool video” — you still need it promote sensibly.
Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, display campaigns, mailing—all of these channels require investment, but they're the ones that make the video work.
📌 Video is a tool. Promotion is the engine. One without the other will not go.
